Bill also did some work on the Scoresby Freeway (EastLink). Bill said “It is a slightly modified version of what I sent to Max Lay who was writing something for a book or making leading statements at the time (2006). The attached figures show alternatives that were being purveyed at the time. One, highly favoured by past M&MBW planners, was frightening: the where two freeways merged over some distance. The alternative with the little stub between the two parallel routes was intended to get a measure on the transfer between the two merged ends of the merge. Thank goodness, my simple concept won the day.” Here is what Bill wrote: Scoresby Plans WHS

Bill also helped produce this Gide on how to employ and manage Consultants: 2000 Consultant Mangt Guide

Bill Saggers participated in the CRB cricket matches against the Tasmanian Public Works Department.
