1949 Seaside Holiday
A motoring holiday along some of Victoria’s most beautiful coast roads, introducing some of the scenic beauties to be found along the highways which skirt the ocean beaches of this State.
‘Seaside Holiday’ was filmed in 1949 by The Country Roads Board, and is now a part of the ACMI collection where it’s recently been restored.
It’s a great piece of nostalgia, and features great fashions, great cars, and some not so great driving!
You’ll also see some of our most notable coastal formations including the 12 Apostles and London Bridge before nature stepped in to change things around
